Starting in Term 2 2020, Kids Up Front are running ONLINE Dance Classes, to keep your kids moving and grooving! No matter where you are located, your child can join in the high energy fun with our awesome dance teachers, via Zoom!
Our Dance Classes are grouped as Kindy to Year 2; and Year 3 and above.
Classes are $12 per week (invoiced by the Term). We offer a sibling discount where more than one child from the same family is enrolled in our dance program. This is a discount of $1 per child per week so $11 per class per child instead of $12.
Our Funky Jazz Hip-Hop Classes are a combination of Hip-Hop style and Jazz Technique. Often danced to pop music, Jazz it is an extremely popular style as it is achievable for any student at any age. The choreography is energetic, strong, current, and sometimes sassy! Jazz often includes technical movement including kicks, jumps and turns that might be new to a more inexperienced dancer, however our classes are created with all levels in mind and dedicated to catering for young performers of any ability.
Hip-Hop is a combination of street and urban dance styles. We focus on getting funky, bending knees, staying low, performative attitude and facial expression. We always remain age appropriate with our movement.
Kids Up Front’s Online Class Rules:
- Keep your camera ON throughout the whole class
- Only enrolled dance students can participate
- Ensure your camera positioning is appropriate and not invasive to your privacy or others
- Parents are responsible for providing a safe environment for the child to participate in during the class. As Kids Up Front is unable to control your home environment, we can therefore take no responsibility for damage or injury
- Behaviour that violates Kids Up Front’s values will result in termination of the live stream for the individual student
